Peace Pilgrim started walking for peace in 1953 . She logged over 25,000 miles on foot for peace with a simple message, “This is the way of peace: Overcome evil with good, and falsehood with truth, and Hatred with Love.” Incredible woman. This car came about when our Founder, Jean, was diagnosed with cancer over 10 years ago. When diagnosed Jean said she was going to have more fun then anyone else and went out and bought this VW and had it painted. As she traveled across country on a After Laughter Tour, Jean always enjoyed the many smiles it brought to others. Laugh and be Healthy. PS: Jean is still cancer free and the credit goes to Spirit ( The Car).
