Peace Pilgrim

  • Posted on March 24, 2011 at 4:25 pm

Peace Pilgrim started walking for peace in 1953 .  She logged over 25,000 miles on foot for peace with a simple message, “This is the way of peace: Overcome evil with good, and falsehood with truth, and Hatred with Love.”  Incredible woman.  Be sure to visit this web site to hear about her pilgrimage:  http://peacepilgrim.com/

Winter Peace and Laughter

  • Posted on February 6, 2011 at 7:25 pm

SnowA little snow, a little blue sky, and a lot of  laughter will add joy and great health to your life.   Did you know that laughter can actually lower your blood pressure, improve the immune system, reduce stress, fire up the endorphins and just help you to feel really darn good and it is contagious.  Santa knows this, why do you think he is known for his HO HO HO’s?  Thanks to Steve Wilson and his staff  at World Laughter Tour, laughter clubs are spreading everwhere.  http://www.worldlaughtertour.com/sections/about/faq.asp  Be sure to visit Steve and you may want to start your own laughter club.  Laugh Often, Have Fun and be Healthy!!!!  Peace and Laughter Elf Larry

Peace Begins With A Smile

  • Posted on December 1, 2010 at 8:39 pm

Mother Theresa said that peace begins with a smile and Elf Jean is still on her Mission to give away a smile everday to someone new. You can see that her Smile Tree is growing and hopefully you are watering your smile tree each and every day. Elf Jean wants to know who is best known for their friendly smile . There are some folks who seem to smile all day long. I have a friend Howard and anytime I think of him I see this very large smile on his face. Maybe you have a friend like this and Elf Jean would like to hear you smile story.

Smiles Are Growing

Elf Jean is still on her Smile Mission. As you can see the smiles are growing around the Country, one at a time each day and plans are under way to go global and just see how far a smile can go. Start today, Give a smile a day away to a stranger, doesn’t have to be on a stick. A real, great, big, wild and crazy smile has more magic then you realize. A smile actually stimulates the thymus gland and fires it up to zap foreign cells, desease, and infections. The thymus gland is one of the first organs to be impacted by stress, so Smile, Smile, Smile. If you really want to go out on a limb (see picture) stretch it into “Laughter”.

Peace and Snow

  • Posted on September 16, 2010 at 5:58 pm

There is a peaceful quality of Snow that is hard to explain. This is one of the reasons why Santa and his reindeer hang out and play in it. Each flake has a different structure and as they fall to the earth there is not a whisper, then they lightly touch down and all join together to form this soft, silent, peaceful blanket that seems to go on forever. Let us all take notice and perhaps we can become like the Snow.

Peace and Love,

Elf Larry
